Lily and the Grazing Giraffe

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lily who lived with her Grandma and Grandpa in a small cottage by the woods. Lily loved spending time with her grandparents and playing with her pet goldfish, Goldie.

One day, Lily decided she wanted to go on an adventure and explore the woods. She put on her backpack and set off, with Goldie swimming along in a little plastic bag.

As she was walking, Lily stumbled upon a grapevine and started to pick some grapes. Suddenly, a giraffe appeared from behind a tree and started to nibble on the grapes too!

Lily was shocked at first, but then she started to giggle. The giraffe was so silly and tall, and its tongue was even longer than she was! They ate grapes together and became fast friends.

The giraffe led Lily deeper into the woods, and they came across a small pond where Grandpa was fishing. Grandpa was just as surprised as Lily was to see a giraffe in the woods, and the three of them spent the afternoon fishing and telling stories.

Finally, it was time for Lily to head back home. She thanked the giraffe for showing her a new part of the woods and said goodbye to Grandpa. When she got home, she told Grandma all about her exciting adventure.

From that day on, Lily visited the giraffe in the woods every week and brought him grapes to munch on. And whenever she told the story of how she met the giraffe, she always made everyone laugh with her silly antics and silly giraffe friend.
