The Mischievous Mouse and the Creative Classroom

Once upon a time, there was a teacher named Mrs. Smith who loved her keyboard, ruler, computer, pen, and board so much that she decided to bring them all to school one day. The children were amazed by all the tools Mrs. Smith had brought with her!
As they started their lesson, Mrs. Smith used her keyboard to type a story, her ruler to measure the length of words, her computer to show pictures and videos, her pen to write on the board, and her book to read aloud to the students.
But then, a sneaky mouse snuck into the classroom and started playing with all of Mrs. Smith's tools. The mouse typed silly words on the keyboard, measured everything in sight with the ruler, changed the background on the computer to a picture of cheese, drew mustaches on all the characters in the book with the pen, and wrote "Mouse Rules!" on the board.
Mrs. Smith was so surprised and couldn't stop laughing! She knew it was time for a change of pace in her lessons and allowed the students to have fun with her tools too. From that day on, every lesson was filled with laughter and creativity. The end.

Reflections

  1. What was Mrs. Smith's favorite tool to use in class?
  2. What did the mouse do with each of Mrs. Smith's tools?
  3. How did Mrs. Smith react when she saw what the mouse had done?
  4. How did the lesson change after the mouse's visit?
  5. How was the lesson different from all the other lessons?
