The Train Station Adventure

At the station, waiting for the train,
Standing on the platform, again and again.
Some people rush, some people stroll,
Some people hurry, some people dawdle.

The bar is full of tasty treats,
Plenty of snacks for hungry peeps.
Don't miss your chance to grab a bite,
Before you catch your train in sight.

You must be quick to catch your ride,
Jump on the train and take your side.
If you return to the station late,
You'll have to wait for another date.

So make sure you're on time, my friend,
And your train journey will not end.
With lots of sights and lots to see,
A train adventure, just for thee!

  2. Why is it important to catch your train on time?
  3. What kind of snacks do you think might be at the bar mentioned in the poem?
  4. Have you ever been on a train ride before? What was it like?
  5. What do you think makes train travel unique and exciting compared to other modes of transportation?
