Lonely Loon Finds Warmth in Friendship

Once upon a time, in a lake so blue,
A lonely little loon was feeling quite blue.
He swam all alone, without a friend in sight,
Feeling so cold in the day and at night.

One day, a friendly duck came by,
And asked the loon with a smile in his eye,
"Dear loon, why do you swim all alone?
Come join us in the warm, we'll make you feel at home!"

The loon was hesitant at first, feeling shy,
But he longed for warmth, and so he gave it a try.
He paddled over to the duck and joined in the fun,
Feeling the warmth of friendship, like basking in the sun.

Now the little loon swims with the ducks every day,
He's no longer lonely, and he's found his way.
He feels so warm, and no longer so cold,
Having friends to swim with, never growing old.

So if you ever feel lonely and blue,
Remember the loon and what he went through.
Just reach out to someone and make a friend,
And soon you'll feel warm, loved, and not alone again.
