Friends in the Forest: A Winter's Tale

Once upon a time, in a forest so wide
Lived a curious fox, with a bushy tail by its side
One cold winter's day, as he roamed through the trees
He met a shivering rabbit, who was feeling the freeze

"Don't be afraid," the friendly fox said
"I know it's chilly, but don't lose your head"
He showed the rabbit a warm place to stay
And brought some blankets to keep the cold away

Next, they met an ant, who was hard at work
Gathering food and provisions, without a single shirk
She scurried by with her tiny feet
Carrying her bounty, so sweet to eat

The fox and rabbit helped the ant along
Making sure she didn't get anything wrong
They worked together in harmony and peace
Till the day turned warm and the cold did cease

Just then, a bear lumbered into sight
Looking for something to munch on with delight
The fox and friends weren't sure what to do
When suddenly a blue jay appeared in view

With a squawk and a flutter of wings so blue
The jay chased the bear away, it's true
And so the fox, the rabbit, and the ant
Learned that friends come in all shapes and plants

No matter what challenges we face each day
We can work together to find a way
To stay warm and safe, and have some fun
With all the creatures under the sun.
