The Brave Boy and the Terrible Giant

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
Lived a giant so huge, he blocked the sun's ray.
But this giant was terrible, oh what a sight,
He was so mean and miserable, he gave everyone a fright.

His castle was enormous, with a moat so deep,
But the stench of rotten food made everyone weep.
He never smiled, not even a little bit,
And when he spoke, his voice was like a growling pit.

The people of the land were scared to go near,
The giant's castle, they lived in constant fear.
But one day a young boy, so brave and bold,
Decided to face the giant, and be very bold.

He climbed up the hill, to the giant's lair,
With a heart full of courage, he did not despair.
He stood in front of the giant, with a smile so wide,
And the giant couldn't help but feel something deep inside.

The boy talked to the giant, with kindness in his voice,
And the giant's heart softened, he had a change of choice.
He gave up his miserable ways, and started to be kind,
And the people of the land were happy to find,

That the giant they once feared, was now their friend,
And the boy who was brave, had brought a happy end.
So remember, my dear children, that kindness wins the day,
And even the most terrible giants, can change their ways.
