The Proud and Sly Striped Creature

In the jungle, deep and wild,
Lived a furry, small and mild,
A creature sly and quick on feet,
And oh so proud of its retreat.

With stripes upon its back so bright,
It roamed the forest day and night,
Strong and nimble, it did play,
And scampered through the woods all day.

It climbed the trees so high and tall,
And from up there it would call,
To all the animals far and near,
Announcing that it had no fear.

For though it may be small in size,
This creature strong and very wise,
Knew how to live within its means,
And keep itself safe and unseen.

So children, take a lesson here,
From this creature, oh so dear,
Be proud of who you are, and strong,
And like this creature, strive along.
