You ask your friends to join you
For pumpkin patch fun, it's true
To draw a face on each bright gourd
And carve it out with a kitchen sword

The seeds you scoop out one by one
Until the pumpkin's insides are done
Then add a light, just like a star
To make your pumpkin shine afar

If you need help, don't be shy
Your friends are here, don't ask why
Together you can make it right
And have a pumpkin that's a sight

So let's get carving, let's create
