A Good Night's Routine

As nighttime falls and day must end,
It's time to get ready to ascend,
To a place where dreams come true,
And where a good night's rest is due.

First, let's wash our hands and face,
And put on our cozy pajama lace,
We'll brush our teeth, left and right,
And be sure to keep them clean and bright.

Now it's time to jump into bed,
And rest our little sleepy heads,
But first, let's grab a drink or two,
To make sure we won't be feeling blue.

And now it's time to read a tale,
Of dragons, castles, and knights in mail,
We'll venture to a far-off land,
And we'll have so much fun, it will be grand.

So off to sleep we go, my friends,
With happy thoughts and peaceful ends,
Tomorrow's a brand new day,
Full of adventure, laughter, and play.
