Summer Fun with Water, Marble, Sink, Watermelon, and Apple

In the kitchen, by the sink,
I found a little marble, round and pink.
I washed it clean with water bright,
And marveled at the way it shone in the light.

Next to the sink, a watermelon lay,
Juicy and sweet, ready for us to play.
We cut it open and took a bite,
And soon we were floating with delight.

But then we saw, on the windowsill,
An apple waiting there, so still.
We took a bite, and to our surprise,
We felt a little float inside.

So we played and splashed and had such fun,
Until the day was almost done.
And as the sun began to set,
We knew that we would never forget,

The magic of that summer day,
When we played and laughed the time away,
With water, marble, sink, watermelon, and apple,
Our little hearts a happy, floating chapel.
