Adventure on the Lake: A Fishing Trip for Kids

Come all ye little ones, come gather round with glee
For a tale of adventure, out upon the shining sea
There's a boat and there's a lake, so calm and clear and blue
With a pole, a hook, and a worm, to catch a fish or two

First we'll bait the hook with the wiggling little worm
Then cast the line out far, where the fish are sure to squirm
We'll wait patiently and watch, for a nibble or a tug
And when we feel it pull, we'll give the line a good strong hug

The fish will thrash and flip, trying hard to get away
But with our trusty hook and line, it's sure to have to stay
We'll pull it in and admire, its scales all bright and gleaming
And maybe take a picture, to remember our great fishing evening

So come all ye little ones, let's go out and explore
The wonders of the lake, and the creatures that it stores
With our pole, our hook, and our boat, we'll have a grand old time
Catching fish and making memories, in this land of sunshine.
