In the world of animals, big and small,
There are many names for groups, one and all.
A bunch of birds, flying high,
Is a gaggle, honking as they pass by.

A group of fish, swimming in the sea,
Is called a school, as busy as can be.
A herd of cows, grazing in a field,
Is a peaceful sight, so calm and still.

A pod of whales, diving deep,
Is a majestic sight, a wonder to keep.
A murder of crows, black as night,
Is a spooky sight, giving us a fright.

A colony of ants, working hard,
Is a busy place, with no time to laud.
A pack of wolves, hunting in the night,
Is a fearsome sight, giving prey a fright.

So whether it's a smack, or it's a group,
A gather or a pod, or a herd with a whoop,
There are many ways to describe animals,
And we love to learn about them all!
