In a big zoo, there was a snake,
Slithering around without a break.
Kids gathered around its cage,
Amazed by its odd, scaly page.

Next to the snake, there was a bear,
With its big paws and furry hair.
It roamed around, looking tough,
Kids gazed at it, never enough.

But these animals don't just live here,
In the wild, they have no fear.
A pet snake or bear is not for all,
They need space to roam and crawl.

So admire them from afar,
Visit the zoo and see them star,
Learn about them, appreciate,
And leave them be in their natural state.
