The flag of our nation,
It has a story to tell,
Of the many who fought,
And how freedom they did compel.

An important idea,
That's what it represents,
Liberty for all,
And the right to dissent.

Many colors and shapes,
Different flags you will see,
But ours is the one,
That fills us with glee.

So stand up tall and proud,
And wave it in the air,
For our flag represents,
A land beyond compare.
