The Baseball Adventure

Come gather round, young ones, let's have some fun,
We'll talk about baseball, a game that's never done!
A coach is like a teacher, helping us learn,
And with our mitts in hand, we'll take our turn.

A team is made of players, working together,
And each one has a role, no matter the weather.
Should we hit the ball hard or should we bunt?
Could we steal a base? It's all part of the hunt.

The shortstop is a player who stands out,
They guard the infield, ready to shout.
"Throw it to me!" they'll yell with glee,
And make the play, just wait and see!

So come on kids, let's play some ball,
We'll run and hit, and have a ball.
Just ask your friends, and form a team,
And soon enough, you'll live the dream.
