Lost in the Woods

In the morning, we rise and shine,
Stretch our arms and feel just fine,
The sun is up, the birds are too,
And there's so much we can do!

Afternoon comes, the day goes on,
We play and learn and have some fun,
The sun is high up in the sky,
And we feel like we can touch it nigh.

As the day turns into evening,
We start to feel a little sleepy,
But there's still some time to play,
Before we hit the hay.

Night falls, the stars come out,
The moon is shining, there's no doubt,
We close our eyes and dream away,
Until the next morning, a new day.

Noon comes around once more,
And we're back where we were before,
The day goes on, and we will too,
As we learn and play and grow anew.

So let's embrace each moment, every one,
From morning to night, until we're done,
For time goes by so fast, you'll see,
And soon we'll be all grown up and free.
