Pirate's Treasure Hunt and a Skeleton's Tale

Once upon a time, so long ago
A real pirate sailed to and fro
He searched for treasure far and wide
And with his crew, they'd often glide

They sailed across the ocean blue
And searched for treasures old and new
With maps and compasses in hand
They hoped to find gold in the sand

One day they came upon an isle
And there they found a skeleton pile
They searched and searched, but found no gold
Instead, they found a story old

It told of a pirate long ago
Who sailed the seas and stole the show
He was a robber, so they say
Who took treasure and then got away

But this pirate was not like him
He searched for gold, but on a whim
For he was a pirate kind and true
Who knew just what he had to do

So he set sail with his crew
To search for treasure, old and new
And even though they searched with care
They found no treasure anywhere

But what they found was even better
A friendship that would last forever
And so they sailed across the sea
With very happy hearts, full of glee.
