Sweet Potato, Tamale, Turkey Feast

On a holiday called Thanksgiving,
We gather with family and friends.
To share a meal so delicious,
Our gratitude never ends.

Mom brought a sweet potato dish,
Dad made a tamale, oh so fine.
And grandma's turkey is a must,
A dish that's always divine.

We all sit down at the table,
Our bellies grumbling with glee.
And we say a prayer of thanks,
For all that we are lucky to be.

We're thankful for the food we have,
And the love that we receive.
For our health and happiness,
And the memories we can believe.

The stuffing and cranberry sauce,
Are extra treats we adore.
And with full and happy hearts,
We keep coming back for more.

So let's eat up, kids, and enjoy,
This special time with our kin.
For we are blessed in so many ways,
And this feast is a joy within.
