Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Sophie. She lived in a cozy house with her parents and her dog, Max. One day, it was raining very hard outside and Sophie's mother told her to put on her coat and take an umbrella with her before she left the house.
Sophie put on her red coat, grabbed her yellow umbrella and headed outside to her dad's car. She got in the car and her dad drove her to school. On the way, they passed by many people with umbrellas, trying to stay dry.
When they arrived at school, Sophie's shirt was a little damp from the rain. But she didn't mind because she was excited to show her friends her new blouse and tie. She went inside and hung her coat and umbrella on a hook and put her hat on a shelf.
After class, Sophie's dad picked her up and they went home. They put their shoes on the carpet and Sophie went to her room to change out of her wet clothes. She put on a fresh shirt and blouse, and brushed her hair.
Before dinner, Sophie's mother asked her to help set the table. Sophie got the plates and cups, and her mother got the silverware and a tablecloth. They put it all on the carpet in the living room and sat down to eat.
After dinner, Sophie played with Max and then went to bed with a big smile on her face, thinking about the fun day she had with her family, friends and her dog Max.
