The Birds and Their Beaks: A Forest Tale

In a forest, very green,
Many birds could all be seen,
Some were short, and some were long,
But all had beaks that were strong.

The crossbill with its crossed beak,
Can use it to open seeds unique,
The hornbill with its giant size,
Can crack open nuts to everyone's surprise.

The pelican with its pouch so wide,
Can catch fish on its seaside glide,
The hummingbird with its speedy flight,
Uses its beak for nectar's delight.

The bearded barbet with its striking look,
Uses its beak for fruits it took,
And last but not least, the hornbill so grand,
Uses its beak as a musical band.

All these birds use their beaks with care,
In the forest, they all have a share,
So when you see them, take a look,
At their beaks, and how they cook!
