The Adventures of Beach Buddies

Come little children, gather 'round,
Let me tell you of a place we've found,
A place where land meets sea and sand,
A place where we can all hold hands.

It's the beach, where we like to play,
And build sandcastles every day,
We pick up shells and stones so smooth,
And watch the waves as they move.

From the shore, we can see so far,
Out to the horizon where ships are,
We can feel the tide come and go,
And watch the sun set with a glow.

There are different types of beaches you see,
Some have big waves, others calm and free,
But beneath the waves is a hidden world,
With creatures and plants that are curled.

We can even set a record or two,
By swimming far or finding a gem so new,
But what's most important, let me say,
Is to have fun and laugh every day.

So come to the beach, my little friends,
Where adventure and magic never ends,
And let the sand between your toes,
Take you to a world nobody knows.
