Once upon a time, in the land of the free,
There was a president, as honest as can be.
He carried a buck, big and strong,
And spoke to his people all day long.

But one day as he walked in the woods,
He stumbled and tumbled down for goods.
He looked up and saw a harshly face,
A man with a hatchet, in a dangerous place.

The president knew what he had to do,
He spoke honestly and tried to subdue.
The man put down his hatchet and listened,
And the president's words left him no longer frightened.

From that day on, the president led with grace,
And people followed him, all over the place.
So remember, kids, to be honest and true,
And use your words wisely, like the president too.
