The Mighty Pterodactyl: A Tale of Imagination

Once upon a time in a land far away,
A creature roamed, it's hard to say
Just how to pronounce its name
But we'll try our best, it's not a game

The pterodactyl, so rare and grand
A leathery creature, it ruled the land
Its wings would flap and soar up high
As it let out a mighty cry

With its long beak and sharp claws
It hunted prey without any pause
But don't be scared, it's just pretend
We're safe and sound, my young friend

So scrunch up your face and let out a roar
Like the pterodactyl did once before
Murmur and giggle, let your tongue twist
And pretend you're a prehistoric beast

Even though it's just make-believe
It's fun to imagine what we can achieve
With our minds and our playful hearts
We can travel to lands far apart

So let's say goodbye to our dinosaur friend
Until we meet again and play pretend
With our imagination, the world is our own
And the pterodactyl will forever be known.
