Once upon a time, so very long ago,
There were two little kids, as happy as could be, you know.
They played and laughed, and ran all around,
With joy and happiness, their hearts were bound.

One day, as they were running with glee,
They met a little puppy, so very cute, you see.
He was lost and didn't know where to go,
So they decided to help him, this they both know.

They asked the puppy where he was from,
But he just wagged his tail and chewed on his gum.
They decided to take him home with them,
And figure out where he was from, not a problem.

So, they fed him and gave him a bath,
And the little puppy was very happy, not sad.
He played and rolled around with them,
And they became friends, like peas in a pod.

They searched high and low to find where he lived,
And finally, after some time, they discovered his crib.
They took him back home, to where he belonged,
And said their goodbyes, with a cheerful song.

The little puppy was happy to be back with him,
And they were happy too, for they knew it was a win.
They had helped someone in need, you see,
And that's what it means to be kind, where we all can be.
