The Hardworking Family and the Bounty of Thanksgiving

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
Lived a family who worked hard every day.
They grew their own food, fresh from the land,
And took it to market, in a wagon by hand.

The grocer was there, with a smile on his face,
To buy up their supply, and offer a fair price.
He knew that the farmer had worked long and hard,
To grow all this food in his own backyard.

The family was grateful, for the grocer's kind heart,
And they knew that their load would not go to waste.
For it would be bought, by folks near and far,
And everyone would have a full Thanksgiving plate.

There were people who wondered, who grew this food,
And who were the ones who made it taste so good?
But all that mattered, was the love and care,
That went into growing, and preparing it there.

So let us give thanks, for the farmer's hard work,
For the grocer who bought it, and never did shirk.
And let us remember, whose table it graced,
And the joy it brought, to each and every taste.
