The Quiet Creature and the Extreme Reptile

There was a creature, a mammal so grand
Whose quiet grace was hard to understand
It lived in the wild, far from the noise
No celebrity, just a creature enjoying its joys

But one day it met a reptile so sly
Who boasted of an extreme life, oh my!
"I'm a celebrity," the reptile bragged
"I live on the edge, I never lag"

The mammal just smiled and shook its head
"I prefer the quiet life," it said
"I don't need fame or constant thrill
Just the peace of the forest, that's my thrill"

The reptile was amazed, it had never known
That such contentment could be shown
And so it stayed with the mammal for a while
Learning the joys of a life less wild

And as the sun set on that day
The two creatures said their goodbyes and went on their way
The mammal continued its peaceful life
While the reptile learned to enjoy the quiet, without strife.
