Title: The Thawing Magic of Spring

Once upon a winter's day,
The snow lay thick and cold,
But then the sun came out to play,
And soon the ice was old.

It melted down into a stream,
A messenger of spring,
And in its wake, a wondrous dream,
Of flowers, birds, and things.

The snowmen that we built with care,
Began to sag and droop,
And though we tried to make them fair,
They melted in a whoop.

But don't be sad, dear children, no,
For soon the thaw will bring,
A chance for new life to grow,
And for the earth to sing.

The flowers will bloom and sway,
And spread their colors wide,
Defeating winter's icy sway,
With nature as their guide.

So cast a spell of hope and cheer,
And invite the spring to stay,
For soon the world will reappear,
In its full and bright display.
