Once upon a time, in a land far away,
A little guest visited for the day.
Nervously, she entered the house of her host,
But the hostess welcomed her with a smile, almost.

"Please come in," the hostess said, polite and kind,
And the little guest felt her nerves unwind.
But then a hiss was heard, and a glare so mean,
And the little guest wondered what she had seen.

It turned out to be a sneaky little cat,
Who hissed at the guest and then ran away, just like that.
The hostess apologized and took the guest's hand,
And together they explored, all across the land.

They played games and laughed, with joy in their hearts,
And the little guest felt like she was a part.
Of this wonderful world, so magical and true,
And she squeezed the hostess's hand, feeling happy and new.

As the day came to a close, the little guest said,
"I'm so glad that I actually came, and didn't stay in bed.
Thank you, hostess, for showing me a world of fun,
And I can't wait to come back and play, when the day is done."
