The Fruits of Thought: A Lesson in Different Ways of Thinking

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. She lived in a small village and loved to explore the nearby forest. One day, she came across a strange tree with four branches. Each branch had a different type of fruit hanging from it: thick, thin, third, and this.

Lily was curious and decided to try the first fruit. It was thick and juicy, but also a bit tough to bite into. She then tried the second fruit, which was thin and easy to eat. The third fruit was a little strange. It was neither thick nor thin, but somewhere in between.

Lily started to think about these fruits and why they were different. She wondered if there was a reason for it. She decided to ask the tree for an answer.

"Oh wise tree, why are these fruits different?" she asked.

The tree answered, "These fruits represent different ways of thinking. The thick fruit represents a person who thinks deeply about things and takes their time to make decisions. The thin fruit represents a person who makes quick decisions without much thought. The third fruit represents a person who thinks carefully but also acts quickly. And the this fruit represents a person who is always curious and open to new ideas."

Lily was amazed by the tree's wisdom and realized that she was the type of person who was always curious and open to new ideas. She therefore decided to always stay true to herself and never stop asking questions and learning new things.

From that day on, whenever Lily walked past the tree, she would stop and think about the different ways of thinking and how she could continue to grow and learn. And that is the story of the different fruits and the little girl who learned to think for herself.

  3. Why is it important to be curious and open to new ideas?
  4. Can you think of a time when you had to make a quick decision or a time when you took your time to make a decision?
  5. How can we continue to grow and learn new things?
