Around the World in Eight Words

In Sweden, the snow is so white,
And the Northern Lights are quite a sight,
While in Russia, the land is vast,
And the buildings are built to last.

In Morocco, the sun is hot,
And the spices add flavor to every pot,
While in Holland, the windmills turn,
And wooden shoes, called klompen, we learn.

Australia, the land down under,
Is home to koalas and kangaroos to ponder,
And in Norway, the fjords are grand,
And the landscape is oh-so-grand.

Babouches are shoes in Morocco we see,
While in Holland, it's klompen for you and me,
So let's explore these lands so wide,
And discover the world with open eyes.
