The Magic Paintbrush

Explaining things can be quite fun,
Especially to the little ones,
Teaching them to accept and understand,
That not everything can go as planned.

Sometimes things can be expensive,
And we need to earn to make a living,
But with a budget we can plan ahead,
And make sure our expenses are well-led.

We can split them up into categories,
Like food, rent, and other necessities,
And even include an allowance,
For treats or toys, to make them dance.

So let's explain and teach them well,
To accept and learn, and never dwell,
On the things that we can't control,
But rather on the things that make us whole.
