The Lost Key Adventure

When a group of friends lose the key to their cabin in the woods, they must work together and overcome obstacles to find the key before nightfall.

Back to readings

Read together

The temperature is what we measure
To know how hot or cold it'll be
We use a special tool to treasure
A column of numbers we can see

We guess what it might be today
But to know for sure, we need to scan
The thermometer's display
To see the degree in its plan

We use tally marks to count and track
The data we collect each day
And then we put it on a graph's back
To see the changes in a visual way

The bar graph shows us clear and certain
How the temperature has changed and grown
We can see the rise and fall like a curtain
And understand what the numbers have shown

So remember to tally and graph
The temperature each day and night
And you'll see the patterns and laugh
As you learn and watch with delight.

Talk about it
