The Last Wish of a Dying Star

Out in the wild, where creatures roam,
Their habitats, their precious home,
A place to mate, to raise their young,
A place to sing, a place to run.

But some are endangered, it's true,
Their species threatened, now what to do?
Extinction looms, a sad fate to face,
We must protect, with all our grace.

Majestic beasts, they need our care,
To keep them safe, we must beware,
Of cars and trucks, that move so fast,
And cause collisions that can't be surpassed.

Some creatures migrate, far and wide,
To find new homes, where they can thrive,
But their journey's long, and full of danger,
We must protect them, be their savior.

So let us all do our part,
To keep these creatures close to our heart,
Protect their homes, their land and sea,
So future generations can also see.
