The Young Chef's Protein Adventure

In the kitchen with pots and pans,
A recipe book in tiny hands,
A list of ingredients to choose,
And careful steps they must not lose.

Protein is important, that they know,
A source of strength to help them grow,
But some can be rather tough,
And make them feel uncomfortable enough.

So, they learn a trick or two,
To remove what they don't want to chew,
A chicken breast or fish bone,
Gone in a flash, they'll learn to own.

With patience and a little care,
A healthy meal they can prepare,
Full of protein, veggies, and more,
To help them grow strong to the core.

And when the cooking is all done,
They'll have a meal that's just begun,
A source of energy and delight,
To help them dream and sleep at night.
