The Little Artist's Masterpiece

Once upon a time, in a land far away
There was a little artist, who loved to play
With paint and brushes, she would create
A masterpiece so fine, it looked just great!

One day she learned about a theory
That said, art has no border or query
She thought, "I'll try a different pose,
Maybe something unique that no one knows."

So she posed like a flower, or a bird in the sky
And with each stroke of her brush, she let out a sigh
For the painting looked beautiful, and as she drew
Her motive to create, was something anew

But as the sun began to set and the stars did shine
The little artist found her art to be divine
For as she stared, it did seem to vanish
And left behind was nothing but a forgery, a planish

But the little artist knew, that her art was true
A masterpiece to be enjoyed, by me and you
For even though it may not last forevermore
It's beauty lives on, in our hearts forevermore.
