The Mighty Forces of Nature

Deep beneath the earth,
A fiery world resides,
Magma churns and bubbles,
Beneath mountains high and wide.

Volcanoes tower tall,
Their peaks so steep and grand,
But when the plates do shift,
We feel the trembling land.

The Richter scale will measure,
The force of an earthquake's shake,
The fault lines deep below,
Where two plates start to break.

Sometimes the land will slide,
A mudslide down the hill,
Or a landslide roaring down,
A mountain wild and still.

But the mightiest of all,
The wave that crashes in,
A tsunami's surging force,
Will make the strongest din.

Though nature can be fierce,
With all its power and might,
We can learn to live with it,
And keep our world alight.
