Once upon a time, there was a kind hearted monster named Max. Max lived in a cave in the forest and was known for his big smile and friendly personality. However, Max was not like the other monsters, he was quite ugly and had bumps and lumps all over his body. Despite his appearance, Max never let it get him down and he was always smiling.

One day, Max was walking through the forest when he came across a group of animals. The animals were giggling and pointing at Max, and he could tell they were amused by his appearance. Max felt embarrassed and worried that the animals wouldn't like him because of how he looked.

But then, one of the animals stepped forward and said, "Don't worry Max, we think you're wonderful just the way you are!" The other animals nodded in agreement and Max felt a warm feeling in his heart. He was so grateful for their kindness that he couldn't help but smile even wider.

From that day on, Max visited the animals regularly and they all became great friends. They would play games and tell stories, and Max was never once made to feel embarrassed or worried about his appearance. The animals loved Max for who he was, and he loved them just the same.

And so, Max continued to live happily in the forest, spreading joy and kindness wherever he went, and always wearing his big, beautiful smile.
