Listen up, young ones, it's time to learn
How to take care of this planet in turn
We have to be careful and treat it right
To keep it healthy and shining bright

The first step is to reduce what we use
Less plastic, less paper, and less juice
If we can use less, we'll have more to spare
And the earth won't have to work so hard to repair

The second step is to reuse what we can
A jar for storage or a bag for a fan
There are lots of things we can use again
And it helps to save the planet in the end

The third step is to recycle when we're done
Glass, plastic, paper, and more, everyone
We sort them out and give them a new life
And keep our resources from becoming strife

Now, who takes care of our earth each day?
It's our job, kids, to make sure it stays
A steward of the planet is what we must be
To keep it healthy and happy, can't you see?

And if we don't follow these rules, it's true
The magistrate will come and say boo hoo
So let's work together, young and old
To keep our planet shining bright and bold.
