The machines that speed, oh how they flee!
With design so sleek, and engines so strong
We watch as they race and zoom along.

Speed is the name of the game
As they rev their engines with fame.
Going faster than we ever could run,
We cheer as they glide, oh it's such fun!

The speed of sound is what they aim
To break the barrier, what a claim!
We watch as they strive to go so fast
And wonder if they'll make it at last.

But there's more to it than just pure speed,
There's drag to consider, a mechanical need.
The shape and design must be just right,
For them to soar with all their might.

So come along and watch the race
As we marvel at these machines in their place.
Fascinated we'll be as they speed by
