The Brave Kids and the Haunted House

On Halloween night, the air is chill,
The moon is full, the night is still.
The haunted house, with gnarled trees,
Is a spooky sight for all to see.

The kids are scared, they're terrified,
As they approach the house to find,
What mysteries it does conceal,
And what it is that makes them feel.

But through the fear, they trudge along,
Continuing to be brave and strong.
The position of their feet is steady,
As they move towards the house unsteady.

The house is old, and quite visible,
Yet, what's inside is quite invisible.
Except for the sounds, they hear inside,
That fills them with fear they cannot hide.

But fear not, young ones, you'll be okay,
For I am here, to protect and to stay.
Together we'll explore this haunted place,
And conquer our fears, with a smile on our face.
