The decision was made, they had to amputate
But he remained ecstatic, never in a state
Eventually, he learned to adjust
And never did he abandon his trust
His love for life never faded
Through all that he had to be aided
So let this be a lesson, my friends
To love and cherish until the end
And no matter what life throws our way
We'll face it with courage and play.
