The Little Critter's Big Adventure of Learning

There was once a little critter,
An omnivore was he,
He ate both plants and animals,
As happy as can be.

A biologist came to visit,
To study him up close,
To see how he survives and thrives,
And all the things he knows.

The critter learned about extinction,
How some friends are now gone,
And how important it is to keep
Our diverse world turned on.

The critter learned about hibernation,
How some sleep through the snow,
And how it's good to take a rest
When the winter winds do blow.

The critter met a solitary friend,
Who lived life all alone,
But found that sometimes company
Can make a happy home.

The critter learned about carnivores,
Who eat only meat all day,
But found that sharing food around
Can make a better way.

The critter met a conservationist,
Who taught him how to care,
And how we can all work together
To keep our world so rare.

So now the critter knows so much,
And wants to spread the word,
That we can all make a difference,
And save the things we've heard.
