Adventures of a Young Foreigner

In a land so far away,
A foreigner came to stay.
She wore a kimono, tied with an obi,
And her passport said she was from Kobe.

She went to see the sights,
A pagoda tall and bright.
She ate some sushi, tempura too,
And drank some tea that was green and new.

But then she saw something that made her scream,
A snake with venom, like a bad dream.
But don't you worry, she ran away,
And lived to see another day.

So kids, if you travel afar,
Remember to bring your passport, like a star.
Try the food, see the sights,
And always be ready for a fright.

  4. Have you ever visited a new place before? What did you like about it?
  5. If you were to visit a foreign land, what kind of food or sights would you want to see?
