Plato's Theory: The Power of Change

In the Mediterranean Sea so wide,
A volcano slept, deep inside,
But pressure built, and magma flowed,
The mountain shook, it soon would explode.

The waves grew high, a tsunami formed,
A mighty force, so wild and un-tamed,
But Plato, philosopher of old,
Had a theory, wise and bold.

He said the world was shaped by fire,
That molten rock would never tire,
And when volcanoes did erupt,
The land would change, new life would sprout.

So though the waves may crash and roar,
And the volcano may spew more,
Remember Plato's words so true,
And see the beauty, fresh and new.

For change can be a wondrous thing,
And in the end, it makes us sing,
So let us learn and let us play,
And explore the world in our own way.
