Our independence, a precious thing,
From monarchs and rulers, we did spring,
And through documents we wrote and signed,
Our freedom and liberty, we did find.

So let us learn and grow and know,
That our beliefs and democracy flow,
Through the government we choose to lead,
And the values we plant and always feed.
