Once upon a loom so fine,
A fabric was being weaved in line,
Threads of weft and warp entwine,
To create a pattern that's simply divine.

Horizontal and vertical, they go,
Weaving together, row by row,
Alternate colors, high and low,
A beautiful fabric begins to show.

But beware, little ones, of the distort,
It can change the pattern you've sought,
So be careful as you weave and sort,
And your fabric will be just as taught.

So weave away, with your weft and warp,
Creating patterns that make you adore,
And when you're done, you'll see the rapport,
Of the beauty you've made from thread galore.
