Come gather round, young ones so bright,
Let's learn about the sky tonight.
From stars to planets, far and near,
The wonders of space are here!

We'll start with the sun, so big and bright,
At the center of our solar might.
Its diameter so vast, you see,
It dwarfs all the planets easily.

But let's not forget the gas up high,
That makes balloons float to the sky.
It's called helium, a gas so light,
That makes balloons soar out of sight.

Moving on to rocks in space,
Asteroids and meteoroids race.
They orbit around the sun, you see,
And sometimes they come close to me.

Then there's comets, so beautiful and bright,
With tails that stream across the night.
They travel along an axis path,
Around the sun in a great big swath.

Last but not least, we have to say,
The Earth's magnetic field is on display.
It keeps us safe from the solar wind,
Astronomy teaches us how it all begins.

So there you have it, my little friends,
The wonders of space that never ends.
From helium to comets, and all in between,
The universe is a sight to be seen!
