Teaching the Savages

Once upon a time, ere long ago,
A land of creatures, so savage, you know,
They roamed and played, savagely wild,
And cared not for manners, nor being mild.

But then there came a being, so agile and quick,
Who spoke of things, so wise and slick,
He taught them words, like "thou" and "art",
And they listened well, with all their heart.

He spoke of allegiance, to each other and all,
And how to avoid, the corrupt who crawl,
He taught them to exploit, their skills and wit,
To make their world, a better fit.

And so they learned, the sooth of life,
To live in harmony, and avoid strife,
Thanks to the one, who came and taught,
And made them better, in every sort.

And now the land, is a better place,
With kindness, manners, and grace,
All because of one, who came to share,
And teach them how, to love and care.

  3. How did the creatures change after learning from the agile being?
  4. Why is it important to be loyal to others?
  5. What does it mean to exploit your skills and wit, and how can it help make the world a better place?
