Breaking Barriers: A Squadron's Fight for Equality

Once upon a time in a land far away,
A squadron of fighters prepared for their day.
Their mission was clear, they were ready to go,
To take down an obstacle, their skills they'd show.

But in this world, things were not fair,
Segregated they were, this they couldn't bear.
They knew they were good, as good as the rest,
But equality was what they had to request.

An experiment was done, to prove their worth,
To show they were capable, to take down the worst.
With formation in place, they took to the skies,
Ready to prove themselves, ready to fly.

An invasion was coming, they had to prepare,
To protect their land, they had to be there.
As they took off, an escort came along,
To show their support, to help them stay strong.

With a mission in mind, they flew through the air,
And proved themselves worthy, without a single scare.
Equality prevailed, they had done their best,
And showed that segregated, they could pass the test.

So now they fly, with pride and with glee,
Knowing that they had broken down a wall, they are now free.
