The Precious Oasis

In a land of vast plateau,
Where nomadic tribes would go,
Lived a precious resource rare,
An oasis for all to share.

Millennia passed and it remained,
The only green for miles sustained,
With vegetation lush and bright,
It was a wondrous sight.

The sky above would often cry,
And precipitation would supply,
The oasis with the water it needs,
To nourish all its plants and seeds.

The nomads knew to cherish this place,
For in the desert, it was a saving grace,
A haven for them to take a rest,
And to quench their thirst at best.

And so the oasis stood the test of time,
A blessing in a land so prime,
A reminder that even in the harshest places,
Life can flourish in wondrous spaces.
